Are free iPhone websites and freebie websites, in general, scams? This is the question I had at first when I saw several videos on youtube stating that I could get a free iPhone, online. But I noticed in the end of each video that it wasn't exactly free. You had to complete one of the site's sponsor offers in order to qualify(e.g. Blockbust, Netflix, etc.), and most of the offers cost money. So, it seemed that this was the 'catch' in all this free iPhone rubbish.
Due to my obsession with the iPhone, I sought other ways to afford this precious product and get my hands on it. But I always came back to the free iPhone thing. So I decided to do a little research on these freebie sites.
What I found out was very interesting. In order to get these, so called, free iPhones, you needed to sign up, complete one offer and refer 8 friends to do the same. I thought about it and looked at the offers that were available. Blockbuster is a legit company, if I signed up and complete this offer then I would only be spending $10 to get a $500 phone. It seemed like an awesome idea but I was still skeptical. So I looked into the site's privacy policy and terms and conditions. It stated that no information is shared by any third parties and not collected from any offer sites such as blockbuster.
Both the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy where pretty satisfying, to my standards.
So I figured that I'd sign up complete an offer and post a youtube video! :D
All this seemed a little to good to be true. So I stumbled across a forum that's actually dedicated to people participating in these kinds of things: Anything4Free.com. On this forum was a list of proven legit sites (Not all freebie sites are legit). In this list was yourfreeiphone.com! Which means people actually got an iPhone for free from this site.
I've came to the conclusion, after countless search/research results: this is NOT a scam.
Here's my referral link if you would like to sign up! http://www.YourFreeiPhone.com/index.php?ref=4102241
